These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Invoice Pilot ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the App on your Shopify store, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.
1. The Service
Invoice Pilot is a Shopify application that lets merchants generate, customize, download, and email invoices, packing slips, and return forms based on their store's order data. Features available to you depend on the subscription plan you select.
2. Eligibility & Account
To use the App you must have an active Shopify store and comply with Shopify's Terms of Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activity that occurs under your store in connection with the App.
3. Subscription & Billing
- The App offers free and/or paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing system in accordance with the pricing shown at the time of purchase.
- Plan fees and usage limits are displayed within the App. By selecting a paid plan, you authorize Shopify to charge the applicable recurring fees.
- You may change or cancel your plan at any time through the App or by uninstalling it. Except where required by law, fees already charged are non-refundable.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its underlying systems;
- Use the App to send unsolicited or unlawful communications to customers;
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App without our written consent.
5. Your Content & Data
You retain ownership of your store data and the content you generate using the App. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the App's features, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that the invoices and documents you generate are accurate and comply with applicable tax and legal requirements in your jurisdiction.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, templates, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the App other than the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits availability.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements or that documents it generates will be free of errors.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends, and we will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
